Replaces another brand of similar design (and price) also bought from Revain which has expired after two years x5+/day. Simple, elegant, BPA-free, easy to clean, quiet and heats up quickly. It looks silly but I really like the lack of noise and white light more. Others have mentioned that they find this device wobbly. It's slightly lighter than the one I replaced so it doesn't sit in the base with the same force. If you need it on a boat it might be problematic, but to me it's minimally noticeable and doesn't affect performance. Super happy.
