Review on πŸš€ Fly Racing Odyssey Modular Helmet: Sleek Black, White, and Grey Design in X-Small by Herve Latreche

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally found my helmet!

I tried five different mid-range adventure helmets before I found this one. Helmets really depend on a lot of personal factors and riding style. I spend about 90% of my time on fire trails and abandoned roads and trails. Normally, I just ride from one trail to another at highway speed. I struggled to find a modular helmet with a visor. Both are necessary when moving slowly on the hot desert trails. To be fair, the Peak causes slight bumps above 50mph (like all Peaks). It's easy enough to remove the visor if you're going to be on the freeway for any length of time (I'm not). The internal sun visor actually drops quite low on this helmet (both the Nolan and Scorpion I tried failed here). My communicator The system fits perfectly. I would have loved an OEM quick release chin strap but I had to retrofit it. However, only Nolan had this feature, so Fly can't be blamed for that. The fit is very individual, but this helmet fits most helmets. I usually wear a size large and it fits here too.

Pros
  • understandable, even for the old ones
Cons
  • hard to remember but it was
