While this isn't a Fluke gauge, it's not sluggish. It comes in a compact zipped case that's easy to see in your tool bag. It runs on AAA batteries (not the traditional 9V) and is easy to swap out. The meter has a fast response time and autoranging works smoothly. So far I have mainly used it in AC circuits. The device has intuitive user selection and performs well on capacity tests. I haven't tested the diode response yet. If you are familiar with VOM, this device will be a piece of cake for you. And if not, you can easily learn how to use it. The meter has a user-replaceable fuse that requires a replacement glued to the case. Standard probes with caps and probes with alligator clips are also included in the zip-lock packaging.
