Purchased this item about 10 months ago. I've done 2 oil changes since then. Changed the oil for the third time the other day and now it runs like crazy. There is a thin piece of rubber on the inside of the magnet that is designed to act as a seal to prevent leakage. Well, apparently plastic only lasts that long in the presence of oil. It detached from the magnet and broke so badly that it started leaking everywhere. I went to the website, found the company's email address and told them what was going on. They replied that parts are sold on the site. I checked the site, there are no spare parts. Looks like I'll have to buy a new one. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee. Considering I told them what was going on and they didn't even mention the warranty, I guess that's not entirely true either.
