Review on 🧊 Whirlpool EDR4RXD1 Everydrop Ice and Water Refrigerator Filter 4 - Single Pack by Chris Martin

This means throwing at least a hundred dollars worth of spoiled food out of my fridge, removing all the shelves and drawers, and vacuuming 2 gallons of water from inside. I changed the filter as usual. When I came back a few hours later and opened the door, I found water running down the back wall of the fridge. Close the water valve and remove the filter to see that it has arrived through the head with a fine tear. (See photo.) Really poor quality control. Especially for the filter, I have to pay $45 every 6 months. To say I'm upset would be an understatement. EDIT UPDATE: Although this is an official Whirlpool product sold by Whirlpool on Revain with the official 'storefront', neither of them are responsible for the damaged product I received. Revain will not refund or replace it unless I send it back at my own expense and Whirlpool refuses to do anything about it because I didn't order directly from their website even though they have that one Revain store and their number is listed as a customer service contact. I've spent 6 weeks switching between them (my return window is now closed) trying to figure out how to get a free replacement as I was sent a defective product and none of them will budge. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service from Revain and Whirlpool/Maytag/Kitchen-Aid.
