Good price, ready to use

This drum auger was ordered on December 4th and received on December 6th. My first impression was that it was firm and a bit heavy. Quickly skimmed the directions and then drove straight to the shower stall in the main bathroom which has had a slow/backup drain for the past few weeks. I decided to try it without a drill first. Removed the drain cap, lined it up over the drain, pulled the trigger and rotated it forward. The snake moved easily and effortlessly until it hit a blockage, pushed a little further, and then backed away at the same speed, pulled the trigger and turned the drum handle in the opposite direction. Pulled out the most disgusting smelly hairball and funk imaginable. It took me longer to cut and untangle the big mess from the tip of the drill than it took to snake down the drain. I drove it a second time but it didn't pull out anymore. Not counting cleaning, it didn't take more than 10 minutes. I immediately threw the old manual POS queue (which I tried unsuccessfully to use on the same stock for 1.5 hours) in the trash. Plumper would cost $90 and this tool costs a little over $70 so I'm already ahead. Next time I'll try a cordless screwdriver. I'm only giving 4 stars because it needs to work 2 or 3 times before it deserves 5 of them. Will be updated after several uses.
