Halogen oven is great during the summer months - I haven't fitted a kitchen oven because it's PERFECT for things that need to be browned. Instructions are sparse, but this device is like any other device - you need to figure out how to use it according to your needs. My first project is a cake on Saturday. I didn't use the 3 inch extension and the top was crispy brown and the bottom was raw. I had to do two layers and use a 3 inch extension to avoid over-browning and increase cooking time. The second project is browning corn chips. on a hot Sunday - the chips were perfectly warmed up and reddened in three minutes. Excellent! The third project - cooking breaded chicken breasts. I've microwaved frozen chicken breasts for four minutes, put the chicken in the oven for 12 minutes on each side, and got perfectly cooked chicken without heating up the house. This oven is great for pizza, french fries and anything you normally cook. use the stove. It takes some adjustments, but being able to bake cookies on a hot summer day would be great. It will also come in handy at winter tailgate parties, using the oven to make shakes and other snacks from the generator.
