Review on πŸ“· Meidase Advanced Activated Waterproof Monitoring: Cutting-Edge Technology for Superior Surveillance by Satish Tegan

Leap in quality!

I have used a Bushnell camera trap for many years. While it was a lot of fun, Bushnell's resolution was low, the monochrome screen ran rough, and the tripod mount broke twice. spare time! I've found trail cameras to be greatly improved in performance and cost. At around half the price, the Meidase is at least twice as good as a camera. Although I've only been using it for a few days, it's been a pleasure. Setup was smooth, with easy-to-navigate menus and a clear manual in English. The functionality is rich and there are many new features that I am very excited to try. At first I was disappointed to see the "pop" sound at the beginning of each video. My email inquiry to Meidase regarding this was quickly responded to with clear instructions on how to download and install a firmware update that fixes the issue. The photo and video quality, while a huge improvement over my Bushnell, was a little worse than I expected - not quite camera quality, but pretty good for a game camera. (See my attached video and photos for examples.) Daytime shots were sharp (perhaps with too much contrast), but twilight images came out quite washed out. Night shots lost some resolution and focus but were much better than my old camera. So overall I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to many hours of fun with it. Thank you Meidas!
