The rear is pretty easy if you remove the tank valves first - my struts arrived partially inflated so be careful. On my 2005 XJ8L, the body holes were too small for the new rocker covers to fit through and connect the air pump hose. We pulled out the new valves, installed the struts, then used the old valves that fit the holes in the body and everything went smoothly. They work really well, great upgrade, but the instructions don't say to vent the racks first and good luck if you don't. Even if your old valves don't work well (which is unlikely), you could be in trouble.
