Purchased (male) 5W. They're not wide at all. They feel like a normal men's size. The style is narrow like standard Chuck Taylors; My toes were crushed and the thick midfoot was compressed. Also, it feels like the insole has a speed bump in the middle of the foot. It's like they miscalculated where the arch support goes or something. And the tongue is too short, instead of resting on the curve of the foot where it meets the leg, the tongue digs into that spot. Too bad because I liked the style and the slip resistance.
