I wanted a mid layer for a girl and loved the look of this girls hooded gilet. Delivery times were a long way off (a month) when I ordered but yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the update and it was here last night just a few days after ordering. This is SO wonderful! Very soft, at first it seemed a little swollen but when I put it on today it fit perfectly: she is very tall for her age and it hits her hips (with a thin elastic hem which helps keep him from riding high ). The pattern is very vivid and cute and looks just like the product photo. The hood isn't detachable, FYI, but I like that too. Very cute, she will definitely outgrow it before it wears out I'm sure. This means I will be ordering a few more large sizes to have on hand and I will definitely be ordering more to send as gifts to my nieces!
