We love everything about Reef but our gripe with this pair of slippers is that the ankle strap is attached in such a way that it really rubs the ailing areas, the widest part of ours little ones Legs. Maybe narrower legs would fit better. We ended up clipping them (good thing they're designed so we can do that without damaging the rest of the shoe) and he learned to wear them without them. For a super agile 4-year-old, these back straps can mean the difference between a great day at the playground and serious knee/elbow/chin abrasions.
