I have very thin center snap rings on my bikes and other bottom bracket tools have started to rip them off due to the chamfer on the edge of the tool. This tool is flat and the teeth extend to the edge of the tool which better engages the center retaining ring. With all this, this tool is made of aluminum, so it is not very durable. I don't think this will solve the stuck bottom bracket. As other reviews have stated, this tool can be hard on hands as it is very thin. I usually hold the tool with one hand and tap the other end with a plastic mallet to loosen/tighten the center retaining ring.
