Much more in real life than I thought. I bought it to carry in a matching bag. It takes up a lot of space. You really can't put anything in transparent bags, otherwise they won't close. Many small items fit into the main pocket. It is of course of good quality and well made, like most Vera Bradley products. It just wasn't what I needed.
