I've looked everywhere for a remote control with a sleep button and this one has it. I like to use the sleep timer to set the TV to turn off 1 hour after bedtime. The sound helps me fall asleep. I bought other remotes and when I noticed there was no sleep button I knew it was time to look for another one. The backlight is also bright and you don't have to turn on the light to use the remote control. It worked with my TV, Blu-ray, surround sound and satellite. Programming with smart search was easy, I followed simple instructions and kept pressing the power button until the device I was programming turned off. I packed all my original remotes and kept them in a safe place and didn't use them. The buttons are large so you can easily see what each button does. The backlight is blue, the keys are white with black lettering. So far I have been able to access all the functions of each device with this remote control. The channel and volume buttons are very large for a remote and are located in the middle of the remote. It fits my hand well and is big enough to see if it's out of place. I bought the remote with a brown and gold front and black back and it stands out easily to be noticed. I can't say enough good things about this remote, I've had it for about two weeks now and can't complain. You can program up to 8 devices. TV, DVD, STREAM, AUX, Blu Ray, CABLE, SATELLITE and AMP. It also has APP1, APP2 and APP3 which I haven't used. In my opinion GE made a great remote, it's a lot better than other remotes I've bought and put in a drawer because I just didn't like them. If you are looking for a remote with a sleep timer button this is the one for you and it is well worth the price for such a good remote. The power button glows red when pressed and everything else glows blue.
