I need more range in about 75 feet. It does the job. Linksys appears to have fixed the bugs reported in previous reviews. It's been working fine for me for two weeks now. I had to go into the menu options and do some tweaking to speed up my connection. My average speed test was 54.3 Mbps with 29.1 Mbps (2.4 GHz) uplink and 77.8 Mbps with 29.8 Mbps (5 GHz) uplink. My ISP has 300Mbps down and 30Mbps up. I was expecting speeds to be around 95Mbps but I got the range I wanted. This model uses a channel width of 20/40 MHz. If you need more speed, choose the 80MHz channel width option. Even if you need enough security features, this would be a good choice.
