I used this model to put a solar panel on the roof of my sedan. It worked as expected and lasted four months before being removed (scrapping the car). After calculating the wind force in pound-feet around my car, as well as the drag force in an 80 mph vehicle, I figured it would be safe enough to stay on top of the vehicle at all times while driving a maximum of 60 miles per hour on days with light winds. It took a lot of effort to pull this panel off the roof of my car even though the VHB tape only made 12 square inches of contact with the roof.
