They really add rigidity when towing trailers! Also eliminates suspension jerks. When I'm not wearing anything I put them on a softer level and it's like jumping in a half ton truck! A friend of mine who only drives a ton rode it once and said you might need new dampers, they are pretty soft. I told him it was like that. I said if you want your ride to be like a kart without shock absorbers just leave it at 9 lol. After that he said he was going to get something for his truck! My truck is a 2002 2500HD. I like being able to adjust many different dampers. Level 1 is like a Cadillac, too soft for me. I still love sporty driving when not towing or towing. The lowest setting I use for a long freeway ride, for example, is 3. Most of the time I have a 6 front rating and a 5 rear rating and it's still softer than the stock but it also handles well.
