I've still been using the same old cheap shampoo after growing my hair out and trying to cut down on washing almost every day. Within 2 days of not washing it it started to get greasy and my scalp started itching, irritating and flaking. If I tried to go 3 or 4 days without washing, my hair would turn into a greasy mess and my scalp would become very irritated. In the end I decided that maybe I should try a better shampoo and chose this Pura D'or shampoo. I have used one of their other products in the past and have found that they are really good salon quality stuff at prices lower than normal salon quality prices. Anyway, this shampoo was what my scalp and hair wanted. Now I can easily go 4-5 days between washes which is my preferred frequency, my scalp doesn't bother me at all and my hair is a lot less greasy and looks a lot better. The shampoo smells good too. I will use this stuff forever as long as they make it and sell it at a good price.
