Excellent smooth needles

I am learning to knit and these needles were recommended to me. I used thick yarn and knitted simple scarves. I found needles easy to use. They weren't as slippery as I thought plastic pins would be. The size is marked in black at the end which is very handy because I bought a set of #13 needles for another project and I can easily tell them apart.
