Review on OTC 5213T Telescopic Performance 12 Ton by Joshua Albright

I decided I needed a quality bottle jack and not one of the $30 imports so I spent a whole heap over $30 on this heavy duty (joke) imposter! Right out of the box, the piston refuses to move more than 1/32 inch per stroke. I look in the instructions for "slow piston", you guessed it, the problem is with the pump, you need to contact the service center! The nearest is 100 miles from here. What now? I will not invest a fortune in shipping this heavy boat anchor because it was damaged upon delivery. If the factory can't do it right, who can? here, it's just a stupid bottle jack! Bottom line, I screwed up, I'll live with it. Second, stay away from OTC/SPX Corporation (really poor quality control if what they send out as new doesn't work). I think Revain needs a better system of checks and balances when it comes to honesty in advertising the suppliers they are so willing to abuse.
