Only slightly better than the antenna that came with the AVR. And $10 is a lot for a small piece of wire. I'm still having issues with at least one channel not staying in HD all the time, quite often it goes to stereo which is annoying so I'll try something else soon, maybe a good pair of bunny ear antennas that are also easier to tune into a single station. The fish wire I'm considering is too short for low frequencies like 87-90, it's good for higher frequencies like 95-108.
