L-arginine plus blood pressure lowering experiment

Background: I am 40 year old male. Very tight. Earlier this year he completed the ultramarathon and trained daily. My diet isn't always the best, but I don't drink or smoke. Like most people, I have a lot of stress in my life. Two younger children (6 and 3 years old) and also the only breadwinner in my house. I worry a lot and take my job seriously, so my blood pressure rises throughout the day. I've noticed that my blood pressure has been getting higher and higher since I was 35. Up until the age of 35 it was always a solid 120/80 no matter what. I couldn't sleep for 3 days, drank 5 cups of coffee and took the pressure - it was a solid 120/80. Age is catching up with me now, and I think the cortisol drop from endurance running, along with the stresses of fatherhood, has started to catch up with me. I've had readings up to 160/100 during the day when I'm REALLY stressed/worried about something. My doctor recommended a low dose of some BP drug because I worry every time they take it - and in fact it works high. So I started looking for alternatives. I stumbled across this product and the science makes sense. As we age, we lose the ability to efficiently produce NO2. Apparently NO2 kept my arteries flexible when I was younger. So when I was under stress, my veins/arteries would quickly (flexibly) expand to accommodate heart rate or stress. Well, that doesn't happen as you get older because NO2 is gradually removed from your body. Life's accumulations (stress, bills, malnutrition, coffee, etc.) are slowly taking their toll on NO2 stores. As your NO2 supply falls more and more, your blood pressure moves in the opposite direction. Based on my research, the surefire way to combat this natural NO2 waste is with supplementation and exercise. Well, I'm already exercising, so apparently I need supplements. Here I am! The first reading I did was after some "deep breathing" exercises. So if you think 130/78 is good, don't be fooled - I had to put myself in an almost comatose state to hit that bottom. Typically this is around 140/85 or higher. My left hand reads even higher, about 150/90. So I definitely have "blood pressure problems" or "high blood pressure" by today's standards, even though I'm in better shape. I think blood pressure problems don't discriminate. I will record daily use of this product (once a day) for the next 2 months. I will update this review weekly to show the progress of my blood pressure and I will also comment on my pre-measurement activities (e.g. deep breathing, relaxation or not). I'm hoping to get my BP up to 110/70 consistently throughout the day (reading with both hands, not just the right). If I can average it down to that level throughout the day, I feel like I've eliminated a major risk factor that will eventually bite me. So stay with me and keep an eye on this for the next 60 days. Here are my first readings: START - week 1 07/01/2021 - 130/78 - week 512 resting heart rate 07/08/2021 - 127/73 - resting heart rate 54 - My sleep has improved a lot in the last 3 days. . It appears that L-arginine also helps with nocturia (waking up at night to urinate). I continue to take 1 scoop with 16 ounces of colored water (mixed) in the morning. That is delicious. Then I train for 45 minutes.
