These keys are unbearably slow, I tossed one in my key pocket (the life we lead!) and I had a USB 3 drive that I wanted to transfer data to while drinking Coffee. It seemed very slow, in fact the remaining time for a couple of gigs was 40 minutes. I let it run for a few minutes and the transfer continued at icy speed. After being away from the parking meter for so long, I aborted the transfer, ejected the drive, and checked to see if the connections were retried on a different USB-C port. Same result. I gave up and went home where I was able to transfer files (lots of files) in a few minutes. There is no reason why this button should be so slow compared to the Apple button I use. It appears to be USB-C but there was no speed. I tried it at home with another flash drive, the result is the same. It's just slow. The build looks good on the outside, but the insides obviously don't match, either due to poor design or poor quality control. I did not contact the manufacturer because my time is worth more than this cost. So far I've lost more wasted time than it's worth. I would not buy again and regret the purchase. Rating statement: 1 star overall because I can't put zero. The value is 1 because it is unsuitable for transferring data of a reasonable size. The quality of the material is 1 because it is so slow and it is some kind of material problem. Durability 3 because although I will throw it away it seems very durable and works like a dedicated charging key so why carry an extra one with you?
