I have a terrace in my garden with steps of different heights. A lot of people come to me on weekend evenings and tell me to watch your steps. Also, a few people lost their food or ate the rocks at the bottom of my stairs. I was looking for LED lights but didn't want to delve into the plumbing, wiring and even solar panels. I didn't want it to be too bright either. When I thought about planes and theater I found this cassette. Some reviews say it's amazing, others say it's rubbish. I figured it would be in the middle depending on how much sun there was. Well it works great, look at my photo, but there is one small detail that is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging. I left it in the sun for a day or two before installing it. It worked, but a barely noticeable glow. I had a black light bulb and even a black light flashlight, so I turned it on just to see, and sure enough, it lit up like crazy. The fact is that even after removing the black light, it continued to glow strongly. Apparently, it charges better with ultraviolet light. But a simple flash of ultraviolet light was enough to keep it glowing for hours. To be honest I didn't see it stop glowing, it was still glowing when I went to bed. So if you buy this and don't have a UV light it will work but not as amazing as with UV. If you don't have a UV light, Revain has a line of flashlights with multiple color options, including UV, for under $10. This is a great investment IMO.
