Great product but installation problem

Love this item, this is my first time buying a perforated/splined rotor and PowerStop brake pads for my 3000 GT project car (all 4 wheels). They work great and look great and the rotors don't rust after 2-3 months of use. I then bought a full set for my 2001 Audi TT Quattro daily driver and while the fronts fit correctly the rears are different. Here are photos comparing a rusty old rotor to a shiny new one. They are advertised for the TT Quattro but all the sizes are wrong. The OE tail rotors are vented, thicker and wider than the PowerStop rotors and therefore will not work. To clarify, the rear pads are correct but the rotors are not. When installed, a third of the pad hangs over the edge of the rotor and the caliper does not close far enough to catch before the caliper piston slides out. (I haven't done this, but will if I try to use them as is.) But overall, PowerStop offers a great product, as I can see from the success of my 3000gt, but the problem is, this particular one Installing element designed for the rear of the Audi TT Quattro 2001 of the year. I can't use them on an Audi, so I'll have to come up with something else.

Pros
  • Dust free braking performance.
Cons
  • Doubtful
