Review on Holiday Lighting Outlet Parapet Christmas by Amy Maeva

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally found a solution! I hope.

My house has a flat roof, 100% brick facade which makes hanging Christmas lights a nightmare but my wife insists I put them up. For the past few years I've attached them with hot glue. every single bulb, which is time-consuming and messy, not to mention difficult to remove the lights when it's time to turn them off. I'm so glad I can! I bought 200 of these and 200 clapboards. I used GE Iron Grip silicone adhesive to attach the parapet clips to the top of my parapet wall, carefully measuring the distance between them (the fasteners are 12" apart, so I spaced them 11" apart). The shingle tongues mounted on the light line and inserted into the parapet clips. When it's time to take them off, all I have to do is pull the tabs out of the clips and remove the lights. The fasteners look great and when all is working well the silicone will keep them in place for years. Hopefully the clips will last for years.
