Our boxer "Kona” is not really picky. She destroys chew toys. Especially these dog bone replicas. The plastic chew toy is pretty tough/hard and has a faint smell. Not really sure what the smell is. Kona was super excited at first. She couldn’t wait for me to cut the plastic band holder. Once in her mouth, she immediately dropped it. Looked at me and the toy a few times and proceeded to pounce on it. Then she sneezed over it and walked away. We’ve washed it and soaked it in milk. Lathered peanut butter on it. She won’t touch it. There’s a pic of it near her bed. Shortly after, she back kicked it away. I have no idea what’s in or on the chew toy to make her act this way. Not recommended.
