First of all I have to say that the mirror didn't fit my bike exactly, it was too small for the handlebar where it was used. I could protect it, but I just had to get it out. I ride a Trek Lexa S, small frame. Now about the product I use: I liked that it was collapsible, but for practical use it didn't suit me. The field of view is too small. This might be useful for some, especially if you're on a busy road and just want to see cars approaching, but I drive on very little-used roads (no cars on most of my trips) with lots of hills. I tried using a mirror but it just didn't work where I was driving. There were a lot of jumps and it was annoying to watch. I've tried using it to find drivers behind me, but that doesn't work either. I ended up taking it off my road bike and will probably put it on my hybrid which I ride off the beaten track at a slower pace.
