The water for my irrigation system here in Florida comes from a well and the Rusco 140 centrifugal filter keeps sediment from getting into my irrigation system, control valves, etc. I'm surprised at how much sediment, sand etc. he catches weekly. I always have a spare filter with me just in case. Depending on the well, the filter should be checked and cleaned every few weeks.
