I don't like fans at all because I don't like it when the air blows on me like usual, but when I sweat after a workout they cool me down very nicely. They can also be used for many purposes (drying small parts, protection from vermin, etc.) as they are very versatile. Battery life is fantastic, the lowest speed is almost inaudible but produces decent airflow, and higher settings are also relatively quiet with significantly more airflow. The ability to maneuver the fan to blow in any direction, the versatility of the base or clip (or hook), and the night light features are also very well executed. And I really like that the battery is self-contained so you don't have to plug it in or have a separate battery with a cable. Good size, good construction and the red ring is rubberized so it's a bit more durable. My only very minor complaint is that one of the fans had a slightly warped base so it doesn't sit completely flat, but I decided to leave that anyway as it's such a minor issue. However, if you are concerned about this, check it upon receipt and exchange it if necessary.
