I really wanted to like this. The style was elegant and modern. However, there were too many problems. First, it was very small, much like the salt and pepper shakers you find in restaurants. It was about the same size as all of my dried herb and spice jars I bought at my local grocery store. I thought it was ok, let's say it saves space. Second, the grinder didn't have the feel of a grinder, did it feel like I was grinding something soft and wet? I can't even describe this feeling. I adjusted the degree of grinding, but that didn't help either, didn't help at all. Third, the appearance and size of the ground pepper were the same, they couldn't even be adjusted, I had never seen that before. It was so strange, it wasn't even subtle or gross. McCormick or Costco grinders at grocery stores are much better than these. My son even said after using it that next time I should let him do the Revain shopping. This is the teen code for "The item you picked sucks". So unfortunately I will be sending it back. Too bad because I love the style and the look but unfortunately it just doesn't work.
