I had a good experience with the machine and found that it did what it was intended to do. Some people have written about scuffs appearing on the metal stand, and it's true that they did so within a few days. It is simple to clean. It will let you know when the container containing the used coffee needs to be emptied or when you need to add water. There is a self-cleaning mechanism on the cappuccinatore; however, you will need to manually begin the process, and the machine will remind you of this after each usage. However, the sections that are exposed will still need to be cleansed by hand. A characteristic that is really helpful is that the milk spout can be adjusted in both height and angle. The noise level during grinding is average (and it grinds in sections, on a mug), which means that you can peacefully converse to one another without straining your voice cords and still hear each other very well. What I recommend you do is take it, as I do not regret having done so.
