Instructions were pretty useless, had to watch tons of YouTube videos how long to hold the set button. Feels quite flimsy but for the price I think it's value for money. I had it on a 1100w panel for an hour outside of testing my setup. It was about 80 degrees max and I came back and everything was fuzzy and fuzzy. I know you're considering keeping it indoors, but it was for testing purposes and shouldn't have burned in this weather. 100 degrees then yes I expect it. I got my money back and bought a better charge controller.
