Review on Enhance Your Backyard with the Perky-Pet FF10 10-Inch Metal Finch Feeder by Ashley Leatham

This is the best thistle seed feeder for the price on the market. A few improvements could have made it really great: * A different color * The presence of a seed tray. (I removed one of my old Droll Yankees and attached it to the bottom.)* Some sort of latch that holds the lid in place to keep raccoons out. (I use a small piece of curved hanger.)* Some kind of rain shelter to protect the seeds from rain. (I use a squirrel baffle.) Oddly enough, I didn't see this feeder on PerkyPet's main site, only here. PS: It took the finches a morning to find them. Now they come in droves. They don't seem to care about black color. Posted pics of mods I made plus three finches attached.
