    Tried many, this one is the best

    I've tried 4 different types of finch feeders - this one is the best. Everyone got dressed, my finches fed, but this one is the strongest (the sock eaters were torn causing a lot of seed loss), offers the best access (not limited by the number of perches) and is the right size. Buying a second one to replace one of my other feeders. I'm in Phoenix and get dozens of tiny goldfinches, pet finches, and even peach-faced lovebirds trying to use it. I put a feeding station in front of every window…

    Very good, could be great

    This is the best thistle seed feeder for the price on the market. A few improvements could have made it really great: * A different color * The presence of a seed tray. (I removed one of my old Droll Yankees and attached it to the bottom.)* Some sort of latch that holds the lid in place to keep raccoons out. (I use a small piece of curved hanger.)* Some kind of rain shelter to protect the seeds from rain. (I use a squirrel baffle.) Oddly enough, I didn't see this feeder on PerkyPet's main site,

    Socks work great attracting stray finches

    We bought 4 of these feeders. The socks work great, attracting lost finches but are easily torn by squirrels and other wild things. So we tried these. After hanging them up I thought I'd check out the reviews on here after the fact. I saw a very mixed experience and worried if we made a mistake.
