I only installed the license plate a few days ago and it fits the Oregon license plate with no block letters as others have stated. Only the very tip of the O is covered, but that's because they partially printed the license plate with the letter O on the chamfer. There's literally no way to have a *cover* if you want to put the lettering in the last 1/8 inch of free space on the record. So the cover works well, it's a license plate that doesn't believe in bleed printing. It was raining the day I installed the lid and I could see it dripping off. The material seems strong, I pulled and twisted it before installing. Overall I am happy with the purchase and the price and would buy again and recommend to others.
