Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 225/55 R17 97 year old by Janis Riekstins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Tires were my option for a significant portion of the period, rather than the typical Conti Sport 5. I went with Conti 6 and have not been let down by that decision. When we talk about noise, it makes perfect sense to contrast the toughness of rubber with the previous vehicle I drove. It will be beneficial to the subsequent purchasers. In comparison, I use the numbers from Conti 5, Conti 2, and Pireli 7. My impression is that the Conti 6 is noticeably smoother and quieter than the Pirelli. It is also noticeably quieter than the Conti 5, although it offers roughly the same level of grip. He mentioned hydroplaning in huge puddles as a disadvantage, but this behavior is possible with other types of rubber as well. P/S: after reading reports concerning sandblasting on primers, I can't confirm it because when I drove quickly enough down a dirt road, I didn't hear the sound of stones on the bottom and the body of the vehicle.

Pros
  • The vehicle has a low noise level, strong handling, persistence with the road, and is comfortable.
Cons
  • Has not yet disclosed, drove a thousand kilometers, it is too early to talk about deficiencies. True, there was one incident that caused me to be cautious: after a bald conti 5, I changed my shoes and, during a downpour on the ring road, I flew through a rut filled with water at a speed of 110 kilometers per hour, and I felt like I was aquaplaning. Additionally, it has brand new tires. I arrived at my own inferences and judgments. Be careful.
