Update Hope the mug lasts longer. One fell out of a diaper bag onto the sidewalk and. irreparable crack. Our adult mugs are 7 years old and this one has not been used in over a year. very leak proof. I love that the bite valve can be replaced if needed (I have a 13 month old teether). NOTE TO PARENTS: If you also have a teething child, consider purchasing a spare bite valve to keep on hand. Like the adult camels my husband and I have, I expect this mug to last a long time. Excellent quality. I love the isolation feature as it means I don't have to chase after his milk cup every half hour for fear he might tip over. Instead, I just pop it in the fridge when I realize it's not being used (every few hours). My son loves to drink while sitting and the she-camel allows him to do that, but more importantly, he no longer chases my husband's bottle and mine now that he has his own bottle. Parts are easy to disassemble and clean. Extremely waterproof (if it's leaking, it's time to change the bite valve!) and virtually indestructible.
