Review on Atom Longboards Drop Deck Longboard by Robert Grimm

The board has a gray surface layer (a rough surface like sandpaper that you stand on) that doesn't bond to the hard surface of the board at the narrow part of one of the curves at the ends of the board. There appears to be a 2-3 inch wide air void and a 1 inch wide gap between the two layers where the material is stretched flat across the surface of the panel rather than being adhered to the surface along the outline of the panel. . The husband just wants to try to glue and clamp it himself, but I doubt it will be very strong. I have requested a replacement. with error description. The replacement arrived quickly two days later on Sunday which was great customer service. The second disk has exactly the same error, even more pronounced than the first disk. Aside from that deal breaker defect, this is exactly what my son wanted and everything else is as described on the website. He loves the design, style and quality and it's so frustrating for him to constantly wait for the perfect model that we abandon him. We still want this board IF we can deliver it without this defect. How could we solve this with the company? I see no other way to contact them other than posting this comment.
