The description doesn't state that it is meant for walking on grass (though the images are very misleading). There are special ways to walk on grass with stilettos; you are not suppose to put much body weight backwards when walking on soft surfaces.I wear stilettos everyday for work. Often times, the small rubbery tip of my stilettos would wear and eventually would thin out. I would have to bring it to a shoe repair shop to get the rubber heel plate replaced every 2 - 3 months. Ever since I got these heel guards, its been 4 months and my stilettos are still protected! There are little scratches on the guard, and I can see some thinning at the edge, but my heels are still protected. Overall, great product! I would recommend it for those who want to protect their heels.Tip: If you have black classic leather heels like me, its best to get the black color heel guard. The transparent guards will yellow in time.
