Review on Accusize Self Reversing Tapping M5 M12 2600 4012 by Dave Rasic
Poorly designed chuck
Tapping/turning works well but the chuck is not deep enough to grip the tap along its full square shank. As a result, it can easily break out when turning. The jaws are also not hardened so if the tap slips out they will jam. I'm not completely satisfied with it, can send it back.
Pros
- Noiseless, positive clutch for smoother, more precise operation and faster reversing. The radial float is self-centering to accommodate bore center misalignment.
Cons
- Big and chunky
