The printer no longer recognizes it.
Update: They stopped working because the HP printer suddenly stopped recognizing them. Now they are useless. This set of replacement HP toner cartridges is great! Nothing special was required for the printer to recognize them other than selecting 'off' in 'cartridge policy' on your printer's little control screen, they swapped out right away and worked like a charm.
