There was a big leak, probably where the hose connects to the pump housing, maybe somewhere else in the pump housing, at least not in the more common places where the pump connects with the pump. When I first tested it (a few days after it arrived I think) I really needed a pump right away so I had to drive to Walmart to get a bad looking pump (but no leaks).
