. The pump almost destroyed the Presta valve on my road bike tires2. After 3 to 4 uses, the pump started to lose air, rendering it unusable3. It is difficult to contact the manufacturer. Lesson: Spend a little more for a pump that will last for decades.

There was a big leak, probably where the hose connects to the pump housing, maybe somewhere else in the pump housing, at least not in the more common places where the pump connects with the pump. Item was shipped as described upon arrival. My concern is the plastic hose that connects to the pump. You will need to wrap the connection end with pump tape to make the connection airtight. This pump is very easy to use for an elderly person compared to my previous pump which was almost 40 years old! It has a large easy to read meter which I love. I am 75 years old and I can definitely say that using the foot pump is much more comfortable. There's one small issue that's easy to work around: the gray slide latches that hold the pump in place, making it smaller and more compact (handy for storage).
