I decided to buy my first spiralizer and chose a spiralizer to keep wood dust from getting onto the surface of the router table. If using a manual router, cut the spiral down so the sawdust is thrown down and out of your face. I just started buying whiteside beats and I will never go back to those cheap boring economy beats. With Whiteside Beats you get more than you pay for. I wish I had more money because I would like to have a good selection of these fine instruments. This 1/8" straight no-cut spiral cutter is ideal for precision making very small precision dovetail joints on the router table. No frayed edges, tears or loops. I can't say enough good things about this and other Whiteside routers. Don't hesitate and don't try to save the extra $2 by buying a cheaper part, it's worth every penny.
