UPDATE. Worked fine for two days and today entered a crash loop stating a "Memory Management" error. It went through the reboot process about 8 times before I powered it off, took out the remaining old RAM chip, reset the one I took out to install the Timetec 8GB and the same crash cycle. Shut down the PC, take out Timetec and put in the old RAM and no problem! I've never lost my RAM so quickly! It usually takes YEARS for something to happen to RAM, most of the time you switch PCs before RAM fails. I have an HP laptop with 8GB RAM (two 4GB chips), which became slower especially when downloading updates. , and when I had multiple browser windows open. This was very frustrating because it even affected typing. I typed almost the entire sentence and it still didn't appear on the screen. I started closing some websites and that helped a little. I already had virtual memory set up, and since the hard drive and memory were getting full at times, I decided to upgrade the memory. I now have 12GB of RAM and it's amazing how much faster it is! It's almost like a new computer again. I could just max out the RAM by buying another 8GB chip. It's amazing how much faster it is! It's almost like a new computer again.
