Easy to install and amazing performance

I upgraded from 4GB RAM to 32GB internal storage. Before adding more storage, I replaced the SATA HDD with an SSD, still thinking I could improve my computer's performance. I figured that maximizing memory usage would result in better performance, but I had no idea it would be this responsive. My computer is totally cracking right now. I recommend this article or a similar one that suits your computer, life is too short to wait on a slow computer...

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Easy Upgrade, Made in the USA

This is an easy upgrade for most laptops and great value! I did a lot of research on Timetec before making this purchase and the reviews here and elsewhere have been encouraging. It's only been a few hours since I installed the new memory, but I noticed the following things: It was recognized immediately, program loading times increased slightly (I actually only increased the RAM by 8 GB, from 12 GB to 20 GB ). I expect to notice a real difference when I'm really multitasking and switching…

100% compatible with Synology DS1618+

At the time of writing this review, this was the EXACT board/track/die memory that was in my Synology. By default, DS1618 comes with 1 4GB module and 1 open slot. I added this to bring my NAS to 8GB. Before purchasing, I visually inspected the Synology RAM in my device. The only difference is that Synology's circuit board is green while this one is black. Again, board layout and CL rating are identical. I've seen other RAM update reports where the Synology Console log showed "Warning Messages"…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No performance

Will NOT work in iMac 27 " 5K 2017

I ordered 2 sets of 2 x 4GB flash drives to install in my iMac (Retina 5K 27" 2017). At first I only ordered one set as my iMac already had a 2x4GB stick and 2 empty slots. This made the system extremely unstable and eventually the file system collapsed. Memory works well if it's the only RAM installed. but when mixed with the OEM RAM, the system becomes unstable. Thinking it was a fit issue, I doubled down and ordered another set (same item, same seller). The second kit wasn't really identical

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Worked hard! for memory

I usually only buy Crucial memory because of known compatibility. However, for some reason, supplies were running out. I had to upgrade the staff laptop and have it delivered to the door. I stumbled across Timetec and checked out their memory finder. Fortunately, this company makes compatible RAM. The memory worked well in the Lenovo Thinkpad, which certainly speeded up the machine. RAM turned out to be of good quality, easy to install, and the machine had no glitches. The price is a little…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Without machine

My laptop is faster

UPDATE. Worked fine for two days and today entered a crash loop stating a "Memory Management" error. It went through the reboot process about 8 times before I powered it off, took out the remaining old RAM chip, reset the one I took out to install the Timetec 8GB and the same crash cycle. Shut down the PC, take out Timetec and put in the old RAM and no problem! I've never lost my RAM so quickly! It usually takes YEARS for something to happen to RAM, most of the time you switch PCs before RAM…
