My application was to convert a Honda filter inlet from reverse flame to ON. One filter had a strange thread, the other was flared too deep. Instead I used a washing machine and it worked great. Withstands 40psi of pressure for several days. If I had known the thread wasn't long enough I would have bought a cheaper non-flare fitting just because I didn't give 5 stars.
