So far this is working well. It looks really good if you get it right and take your time, and seems to be working really well so far. The pilot bit on the bit included in the kit was very flimsy and wouldn't go through my plastic bumper so I had to use a different bit and then use a hole saw to drill the hole. The real hole saw worked fine but the pilot attachment didn't work. I didn't remove my bumper for this install, I used fishing tape and a friend fished it all out with pliers through the space in the bumper next to the brake light and then routed the wires through the brake light wiring and into the trunk. Loud enough for me, and the switch on the speaker works, which is definitely a plus for me. I often put bikes on the back of my car, so turning off the speaker is ideal when I have bikes in the back.
